Account & Security
Signing in, two-factor authentication, passkeys, password recovery, and keeping your account secure.
Your FlashTopup account keeps your order history, wallet balance and saved details in one place — and we give you strong tools to protect it.
This guide covers signing in, enabling two-factor authentication or a passkey, recovering access, and good security habits.
Creating an account & signing in
You can register with your email, or sign in quickly with Google. You can browse and, in many cases, buy without an account — but registering lets you track orders, use a wallet, and check out faster.
Two-factor authentication (2FA)
For an extra layer of protection, enable authenticator-based 2FA from your security settings. You'll scan a QR code with an authenticator app (such as Google Authenticator or Authy), and from then on you'll enter a 6-digit code at sign-in.
Keep your authenticator app and its backup safe — if you lose access to it you'll need to recover your account.
Passkeys (passwordless sign-in)
Passkeys let you sign in with your device's fingerprint, face, or PIN instead of a password — they're fast and resistant to phishing. Add a passkey from your security settings and use it on supported devices.
Resetting your password
If you forget your password, use the recovery option on the sign-in screen. We'll verify your identity and let you set a new password. Resetting your password never bypasses your 2FA.
Keeping your account safe
- Use a unique, strong password and enable 2FA or a passkey.
- Never share your password, 2FA codes or one-time codes with anyone — our team will never ask for them.
- Always check you're on flashtopup.com before entering your details.
- Review your recent login sessions and order history periodically.
